Pallavi Subhash Shirke (born 9 June 1987) is an Indian film and television actress. A Maharashtrian model turned actress, she has started her career with Marathi plays, films and TV shows, then appeared in Hindi TV shows

She's the only Marathi actress who has worked in not only all south Indian languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, but in Sri Lankan language too. Pallavi won a Golden Petal Award in 2016 as Dharma in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat

  Godh Bharaai was an Indian television drama series airs on Sony Entertainment Television, which premiered on 8 March 2010. The story portrays the life of a couple, Aastha and Shivum, who cannot conceive a child. Though it is her husband who is infertile and not her, Aastha doesn't reveal the truth to their family for his sake. Shivum is very supporting, though he urges not to do so and reveal the truth. It is Aastha who is associated with a stigma of being infertile, or baanjh, as considered in India society. A homeless child finds his way into their lives and they decide to take care of him as their own child seeing him as a blessing and naming him Krishna, but it is later on revealed that the child was kidnapped and he was given to Shivum by a woman with a false story. As the show continues, they manage to adopt Krishna, yet Meena (the eldest daughter-in-law of the family) remains jealous of Aastha and her new adopted son. She is constantly thinking up ways to put Aastha, Shivum, and their child in difficult situations. Eventually, Aastha by a miracle becomes pregnant and Meena as well at the same time. However, Meena has a girl and Aastha has a boy.....how far will Meena go to have Aastha and her innocent children thrown out of the house, and to become the center of attention again to her father-in-law and mother-in-law?

Kamal takes it upon herself to plant a variety of chilies, tomatoes, ginger, etc. and even markets them. With the money coming in, she is encouraged by her in-laws to dig a well with considerable success. Arjun is however dissatisfied. He finds out through a local politician, Tatya, that the State Government has reserved some seats for women to preside on the local council. Generally Tatya hand-picks people to sit on this council, and when he meets the seemingly demure and arrestingly beautiful Kamal, he does not hesitate in throwing in his support for her as the new Chairperson. Kamal does reluctantly accept this position, is elected, manages the farmland, household chores, and is all set to start setting things right. She does not realize that Tatya wants to rule over the Council through her; the Deputy Chair, Satish Rao, is more intent on seducing her; while Tatya's opponent, Sopan Shinde, is all set to poison the water reservoir; and her alcoholic husband has a separate agenda of his own - which includes abusing and sexually molesting her, and forcing her to obey his and Tatya's instructions as for him politics is nothing but 'pure cheating'. The question remains will Kamal be able to persist and do some good for Adgaon?
